Bryce Haines McLerran, 75, of Largo, Fla., entered into eternal life January 20, 2010.

He was born February 23, 1934, in Lawrence County, the only son of Opal and Maude (Haines) McLerran. Bryce and his wife of 56 years, Sarile Gilliland, were married in Salem on September 5, 1953.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Kay Pinkstaff and Marty King; three daughters, Shannon Murray, Tammy Lapp, and Kellie Miller; one son, Kevin McLerran; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Opal and Maude McLerran, and sister, Annetta Lynch.

Before retiring in Florida, he owned Bryce and Associates Insurance of Gap, Pa., for 25 years.

Burial at Paradise Cemetery.
