Earl Junior Cailteux - Class Of 1955

Earl Cailteux, Jr. 45, resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1954, died in a local hospital following an accident at his home on June 8th, 1981.

Earl Jr. was born May 16, 1936 in Clay City, Illinois a son of Earl Sr. and Ruby (Raley) Cailteux. In 1955, Earl Jr. first married Loretta “Sue” Battles in Olney, IL. They later divorced. He married Dorothy Squires in 1975.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Squires Cailteux of the home; three sons, Tony, Joseph and John Cailteux of Albuquerque; two step-children, Connie S. Kindsvater of Deerfield, IL and Dr. Richard Squires of Saugus, CA; his mother and stepfather, M/M Omar Scurlock of Illinois; his sister, Mrs. Russell (Niki) Cook of Rinard, IL, a brother, Frank Cailteux of Ky and two nephews and a niece.

Mr. Cailteux was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 461; owned and operated Sandia Employment Agency; served a number of years with the New Mexico Credit Union League and a manager of the Coronado Credit Union.

Services were held today in the chapel in the Garden of the French Mortuary, 1111 University N.E. with Rev. Dale Lee officiating.

Entombment following in Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul N.E.

Paul bearers were George Campbell, Morris Cox, George P. Jones III, Doyal Gillespie, Russell Cook and Frank Cailteux.
