Stephen Alan McKinney, 74, of Olney died June 16, 2012 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  Funeral services at First Presbyterian Church in Olney with cremation rites following services.

He was born on December 18, 1937 in Jasper County, Illinois, the son of John W. and Audrey Page (Allen) McKinney. He married Judith Murray on March 16, 1958. They were the parents of two children.

Alan was a U.S. Army Veteran (1955-1959) and a lifetime member of the Olney Elks. He worked at First National Bank in Olney for 35 years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Olney.

He is survived by his wife, Judy McKinney of Olney; Daughter, Janet Everett and husband Pat of Olney; Sister, Marilyn Jean Jones of Santa Barbara, CA; Brother, Avery McKinney and wife Mary Jo of Olney; Sister-in-law, Pat Holsen and husband Joe of Olney; Sister-in-law, Jan McKinney of Olney; Brother-in-law, Dr. Michael Murray and wife Molly of Olney; Granddaughter, Jessica VanDyke and husband Jamie of Olney; Granddaughter, Lauren McClain and husband Rob of Olney; Daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Pam and Art Rathjen; Great Grandchildren, Jorri and Jakoby VanDyke and Nora McClain.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Sean Robert McKinney, and two brothers, John William McKinney and Jimmy McKinney.
