Wayne was a valued member of "63. I had the privilege of reconnecting with him over the past several years at various small gatherings of classmates. One of the good people - he will be missed!

Wayne was a really good guy and friend.  We got to know each other at Eastern back in 1970.  Even though we were both from Olney, we had never really known each other until EIU. .  I helped him paint his mother's house once south of Olney, and he exhibited some of my ceramic work in his Papermill store in Vincennes.  In the last few years we re-connected through FB.  It was always great to hear  from him and luckily in the fall of 2022, when I was in Olney for my own reunion, we got together in person.  It was great to see him again, and especially so now.  Just wish we had had more opportunities to get together. One of the most decent guys and beyond industrious people I have ever known.  RIP Wayne, Godspeed!  VGMyers
