Virginia Nettleton (Ochs)

Virginia Louise Ochs, 70, of Olney, died Sunday, October 3, 2010, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Stringtown.

Mrs. Ochs was born November 21, 1939, in Richland County, the daughter of Quincy Albert and Alta Dora (Meadows) Nettleton. She married Andrew "Andy" Ochs on September 15, 1962. He survives.

She was a homemaker, had worked as a bookkeeper at Kralis and owned and operated Olney Sanitary System with her husband for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney, Home Extension Association, Backyard Bloomers, Farmer's Market and was a 4-H Leader for more than 21 years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed raising rabbits. She was active in various rabbit clubs and was a past member of American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

Mrs. Ochs is survived by her husband, Andy Ochs, of Olney; daughter, Diane Keortge and her fiancée, Ron Seals, of Centralia; son, Kevin Ochs and his wife, Pam, of Olney; son, Rodney Ochs and his wife, Amber, of Crossville; brother, Quincy Nettleton Jr. and his wife, Shirley, of Edwardsville; brother, Kenneth Nettleton and his wife, Vi, of Swansea; six grandchildren, Madilyn Seals, Derek and Chelsea Ochs and Eva, Abbiegail and Easton Ochs; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Quincy Albert and Alta Dora Nettleton, and one son, Dennis Joseph.
