Jon N. McCormick, 67, of St. Charles died Jan. 20, 2007, at Breeze Park Care Center. He was born March 27, 1939, to Louis S. and Julia (Nance) McCormick in Olney, Ill.

Mr. McCormick was a chemist who worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for 23 years. He was a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and a member of the Fraternal Orders of the Eagles.

He is survived by one brother, Louis of Traverse City, Mich.; and a special friend, Karen Kalinvitch of St. Charles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No services were scheduled. His body was cremated.
