Joe Fritschle

Joe Fritschle, 70, of Olney died Friday July 28, 2006 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.  Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in Claremont.

Mr. Fritschle was born on April 10, 1936 in Richland County, the son of Arthur J. and Helen R. (Boley) Fritschle. He married Connie Jean Sensney on October 7, 1956 and she survives.

He owned and operated Fritschle Land Improvement and also farmed. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

First, he loved God, his family and the land. He was proud to be a steward of the land. He was named Conservation Farmer of the Year in 1988 and was Honorary Chapter Farmer of the Year for FFA. He did construction work for more that 47 years.

Mr. Fritschle is survived by his wife, Connie Fritschle, of Olney; three sons, Jeff Fritschle of Olney, Brett Fritschle and his wife, Joyce of Claremont, and Dan Fritschle of Olney; sister, Phyllis Nelson of Chicago; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Fritschle.
