James J. Robinson, 51, of Ashmore, Illinois, formery of Olney died Monday, October 20, 2003 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, of Leukemia.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Robinson was born on November 6, 1951 in Olney, the son of F.M. and Betty (McHenry) Robinson.  He married Janet Jennings on February 14, 1987 in Sumner.  She survives.

He was a signal maintainer for CSX Railroad for 32 years.  He was a Cub Master for Cub Scouts for eight years.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Janet (Jennings) Robinson of Ashmore; his mother, Betty J. Robinson of West Salem; a daughter, Annie Jean and a son, James Christopher; a brother, Michael A. Robinson and his wife, Teresa of Hazelwood, Mo.; two sisters, Cheryl Y. Patterson and her husband, Miles of West Salem and Kelly J. Geier of Brentwood, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Kathy.
