Mr. Fleming was born January 27, 1942, in Richland County, the son of John Alden and Edith (Harmon) Fleming. He married Marjorie Fritter in 1971. She survives.

He was a farmer.

Mr. Fleming is survived by his wife, Marjorie Fleming, of Olney; daughter, Deborah Fleming, of Wheeler; brother, Jerry Fleming and his wife, Sarah, of Olney; sister, Norma Jean Taylor, of Olney; sister, Linda Cantrell, of Olney; one grandchild, Samuel Fleming; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Alden and Edith Fleming, and one sister, Karen Sue Fleming.
