William Peter Dale, 56, of The Woodlands, Texas, formerly of Olney died Sunday, February 4, 2001 in The Woodlands.

Burial in Forest Park Chapel Cemetery in The Woodlands.

Mr. Dale was born on November 7, 1944 in Olney, the son of Georgia and the late Bill Dale. He married Lucinda Quail. She survives.

He was better known as "Mr. D" of Mr. D's Video Store for over a dozen years. He entertained the families in the area and watched a generation of their children grow. He will be remembered best as the jovial man behind the counter who was quick to smile and brought a smile to others.

Mr. Dale was a loving husband and father who left behind his wife, Lucinda Dale of The Woodlands, Texas; a daughter, Kristy Dale; a son David Dale; two grandsons; his mother, Georgia Dale of Olney and a sister, Augusta Corrona.

He was preceded in death by his father.
