George “Georgia” Elizabeth “Sis” Huffman, age 81, passed away September 2, 2016 in Alabama. She was born October 21, 1934 in Olney, Illinois a daughter of Albert O. “Put” Huffman and George Elizabeth Fehrenbacher.

Georgia married Milton Edward Newton, USAF in Olney on July 14, 1952. They later divorced in 1979.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael E. Newton in 2010; her sister, Martha Harrell in 1991 and brother, Albert B. Huffman in 2002.

Surviving is a son, Milton Andrew Newton; brothers, John W. Huffman and Tom Huffman.
