* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Kenneth Errol Hanes, age 68 of Waldo, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Shands at UF. He was born December 16, 1942 in Olney, Illinois to Omar and Edna Smith Hanes.

Mr. Hanes was employed by Brinks Armored Car. He enjoyed working in his shop, starting a new project and playing the guitar.

He was a member of Sonrise Church of God in Ft. Pierce, FL. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Williams Hanes; daughters, Debbie Hanes and Dixie Hanes (Mike Carlson), all of Waldo, FL; son, Cameron Hanes of Perry, FL; brothers, Richard Teitsort of Missouri and Bill Teitsort of California; sisters, Barbara MacDonald of Ft. Pierce, FL and Nancy Powell of Centralia, IL; 7 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.
