Billy Gene (Alcorn) Bender, 87, of Flora, Illinois, formerly of Olney, died Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Flora Gardens. Mrs. Bender was born September 18, 1936 in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Mildred (Quillen) Bail. She worked as a bookkeeper.

She is survived by her son, Ken Bender of Xenia, IL; granddaughter, Kristin Mullenix of Louisville, IL; and sister, Collene E. Bail of Champaign, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation Rites were accorded. There will be no services.
