You might have known him as Walter, but his family called him "Pete" .He was the fourth child in a long list of 14 born to Stanley and Geneva Novak .
He was the father to Pam Wood (husband Jason) and Julie Novak . Pete was grandfather to Levi and Logan Seaton and to Derek and Taylor Novak .
Because of our age difference , I did not really spend a lot of time with Pete until his retirement .Then he lived in Elizabethtown, IL and when he came to Olney , I was blessed with his visits. Pete had a way about him ..."Where's the coffee ? No coffee ready , I'm gone . Goodbye' "
Pete came back to Illinois in 2010 . He drove some of his sisters to Indianapolis to visit our youngest brother, Tim during his battle with cancer . He had a heart of gold and was a very giving person. The old saying rings true , " He would give the shirt off his back to help anyone In need ."
We all miss Pete so much .
With love from his little sister, Debbie Novak Jones
