Rita Jane Thomas, 46, Centralia, Illinois died at 8:20 a.m. Thursday August 7, 1986 in Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.  Services in the Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia with Rev. Lynn Finlayson presiding.  Burial in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas was born January 13, 1940 in Washington, Ind., the daughter of Robert and Fern (Craig) McCoy, Sr.  She married Darrell Thomas March 15, 1981.

She worked for 16 years as a packer for Hollywood Candy Co. and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 150.  She was also a member of the Church of God.

Surviving are her husband, Darrell; three brothers, Robert McCoy, Jr., Green Forest, Ark.; James McCoy, Highland; John McCoy, Manor, Texas; a sister, Karen Waggoner, Centralia; her mother, Fern McCoy, Centralia and a half-brother, Fred Heichelbeck.
