James R Kallansrude, 84, of Huntsville Al passed away on Friday, 16 July 2021.
He had been in declining health since his loving wife, Prescy, of 50 years passed away in February 2021. Known to family members as Richard, he is survived by a son, Peter, two sisters, two brothers and several in-laws by marriage.
James was born in Olney Illinois on 8 April 1937 to parents William and Ruth Kallansrude. He worked as an Industrial Engineer for several companies in the Chicago area. He was a model railroading enthusiast his whole life. He met and married Presentacion Encarnacion, a registered nurse. They were married approximately 50 years and had established a home in Palos Hills Illinois. In 2019, James and Prescy moved to the Regency Retirement Village in Huntsville near relatives.
James was a caring and devoted husband.

Our sympathy in the passing of Richard, we enjoyed nice visits with he and Prescy when they were in Olney. I remember him in school also and how he had the TB and was out a year in school. He was a friend to all and very kind.
