Dorothy L. Jenkins, 83, of Olney, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Brookstone Estates in Olney. Dorothy was born in Richland County in 1940.

Dorothy enjoyed her family and had a strong faith in God. She also was a hard worker and took pleasure in her job at Carle RMH in the accounting department, among other jobs.

Dorothy was also a member of the Free Methodist Church in Olney.

Dorothy L. Jenkins is survived by her son, Philip Maxey and wife Jill of Flat Rock, IL; grandchildren, Levi Maxey and Samantha Connely; two great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Kronas and husband Ted, and Carol Schoffstall; four nieces, 5 great nephews, 2 great nieces; and good friend, Liz Stout.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter; and brother in law.

A private family graveside service will be held for Dorothy at Dundas Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Free Methodist Church in Olney.
