Larry J. Grove, 62, of Fort Myers, Fla., died Saturday, February 1, 2003, at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Fla.  Funeral services in the Hope Chapel at Crest Haven Cemetery near Claremont with Pastor Steve Wingert officiating.  Burial in Crest Haven Cemetery near Claremont.

Mr. Grove was born on September 3, 1940, in Richland County, the son of Ohmer and Marie (Rottinghaus) Grove. He married Elizabeth Joanne "Jody" Bush in 1968 in Olney. She preceded him in death on November 13, 1987.

Mr. Grove owned and operated a gas station, drove for trucking companies and farmed while in Olney. After moving to Fort Myers, he operated Country Attic Antiques.

Mr. Grove is survived by his father, Ohmer Grove, of Olney; a son, Rodney J. Grove, of Fort Myers, Fla.; a step-son, Randy Pagel, of Dieterich; a step-daughter, Debbie Schackman, of Hewitt, N.J.; two brothers, Robert E. Grove, of Olney, and Danny R. Grove and his wife, Marilyn, of Olney; a sister, Diana K. Schmidt and her husband, Gene, of Olney; an aunt, Clella Rottinghaus, of Olney; one step-grandson; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, mother and one brother.
