Judy E.(Gass) Roberts, 66, passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, at her home in Tell City, Indiana. Judy was born July 21, 1940, in Evansville, the daughter of the late John and Nancy (Gass) Lamar. She married Kenneth A. Roberts on May 3, 1958, in Illinois.

Judy retired in early 2006 from Abbey Press in St. Meinrad, Ind., after 16 years. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Utility and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ken Roberts Sr. of Tell City; four daughters, Debra Weatherholt, Donna Roberts and Susan Heck, all of Tell City, and Kristy Skarupa of Chicago; a son, Kenny Roberts Jr. of Tell City; a sister, Nancy "Tootie" Ryan of Vancouver, Wash.; 14 grandchildren, Amber Greulich, Tessa Weatherholt, Heather, Whitney and Jordan Heck, Neill, Derek, Corey and Jenna Crockett, Ryan and Marissa Skarupa, Kyle and Lauren Roberts and Dustin Edge; and a great-grandson, Damon Crockett.

Funeral services at Huber Funeral Home in Tell City, with burial in New Hope Cemetery at Newtonville, Ind. Brother Jim McDaniel and Brother Ray Estes officiating.
