Glen Dale Gaddy, 58, of Godfrey and formerly of Olney, rating specialist at the Veterans Administration, died Friday, February 6, 1998 in his home of a heart attack. Burial in Roselawn Memory Gardens-Bethalto. The body was cremated.

Gaddy was born Dec. 16, 1939, in Illinois, a son of Homer R. and Bonnie Marie (Cochran) Gaddy.

He was a 1958 graduate of East Richland High School.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline L. Gaddy; one son, Gregory Gaddy; two brothers, Thomas Homer Gaddy and Daniel Francis Gaddy, both of Olney; one sister, Helen Fisk of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
