Shirley Campbell (Hartgraves)

A Rochester Hills, Michigan couple was killed in a car-motorcycle accident at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 1988. The motorcycle riders, Reverend Robert Hartgraves, 50 and his wife, Shirley Hartgraves, 47 were killed when a car entered the opposite lane on 26 Mile Road in Ray Township and struck the motorcycle. Hargraves and his wife were dead at the scene. Shirley Ann Hartgraves, 47, and her husband, Reverend Robert L. Hartgraves, 50 passed away in Pontiac, Michigan Tuesday, March 8, 1988.  Graveside services were held at Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, South Carolina with Dr. Robert Hart and the Rev. R.C. Hodges officiating.

Mrs. Hartgraves, a native of Illinois, born November 5, 1940 was a member of Church of God.  She was a daughter of Robert H. and Fern Campbell of Olney, Illinois.   Her husband,  Robert was a Church of God minister, serving in Alabama, Ohio, Michigan and South Carolina.

Survivors include a son, Phillip R. Hartgraves, Salinas, California; a daughter, Rhonda K. Cable, Salinas; her parents of Olney, Robert and Fern Campbell; two sisters, Ava Randolph, Robinson, Illinois and Verna Reader, Florida.
