On Saturday, September 4, 2021, Linda Diane (Ring) Mullen, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at age 78. Linda was born on May 12, 1943 to M. V. Ring and Ethelda Laverne Small Ring in Bloomington, IL.

She resided in Hattiesburg, MS, at her residence at Wesley Manor. She was an in home caregiver in Olney, Illinois before she retired.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee (Moon) Mullen, her father, M.V. Ring Sr and her mother, Ethelda Laverne (Babe) Ring, Step Son Cary Lee Mullen.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Amelia Clifton (husband Brian), and Leigh-Ann  Mullen all of Hattiesburg, Ms. She has two Brothers M.V. (Doc) Ring, (Wife Dee) of Treasure Island, Fl. George Ring, (wife Barb) of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren, Abbie Lynn Williams and (husband Keith), Alisha Dawn Padgett, Melissa Diane Novak, Adam Joseph Novak, and her great grandchildren, Kailynn Paige Stanley, Kolby Lee Williams, Ayden Lee Padgett, Charlee Ala Stanley, and Matalee Amelia-Beth Stanley; six nieces and nephews. Kristi Ring Botha (Mark), Stacy Ring, Duke Ring, Jordan Ring Mitchell (Ron), Megan Ring and Logan Ring.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg
