Richard E. Wickham, 56, of Gilbert, Arizona died May 23, 1999, at Desert Samaritan Hospital in Mesa, Arizona.

He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, September 17, 1942 a son of William E. and Helen (Musgrove) Wickham, graduated from East Richland High School in 1960, and later moved to Virginia and then in 1994 moved to Arizona.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a salesman in the automotive industry.

He is survived by his wife, Kristene; three sons, Jeffrey, Sam and Stephen; two daughters, Sandy and Sara; one brother, Randy and seven grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, William "Gene" and Helen Wickham and a brother, Ronald Joe Wickham.

He was known for his great sense of humor.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
