James Leon Anderson, 62, of Olney, died Sunday, February 1, 2004 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Anderson was born on June 13, 1941 in Richland County, the son of Harold and Alice Enochs Anderson. He married Blanche Farquhar on June 23, 1963 in Olney. She survives.

He worked for GTE from 1969 to 1990. He was a member of Christian Church of Olney and County Line Rod & Gun Club.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Blanche Anderson of Olney; a son, Greg Anderson of Olney; a daughter, Michelle Weidner of Olney; a sister, Patsy Berger of Olney and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, a sister, Margie Westall and an infant brother.
