Sharon K. Rogers, 39, Olney, died Friday January 31, 1981 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.  Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born October 20, 1940 in Clay County to Lester Steele and Lucille Bateman Steele.

On April 26, 1959 she married Walter Rogers in Olney.

Mrs. Rogers was an employee of General Telephone Co. for 19 years. She was affiliated with the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.

Surviving are her husband, Walter; a son, Michael at home; a daughter, Jaime Lyn at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Steele, Claremont; a brother, William Steele, Taylorville; maternal grandparents, Hugh and Gladys Bateman, Olney and a nephew.

One nephew preceded her in death.
