Sandra Louise (Smith) Cunningham, 73, of Dallas, Texas, died November 19, 2014, in Dallas, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 11 at Crest Haven Memorial Park Chapel in rural Claremont with Celebrant Curt Goodwin officiating the service. She will be interred in Crest Haven Memorial Park.

Sandy's family is in charge of arrangements.

Sandra was born August 11, 1941, in Olney, the daughter of William Smith Jr. and Florence Faris Smith.

An East Richland High School graduate, Sandy went on to attend Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. After college, she went to work for Blue Cross/Blue Shield as a medical claims associate, a position she held for 20 years. She also worked in medical claims for EDS/GE for six years. Her work ethic and drive to provide for her family were an inspiration to all who knew her. She will also be remembered for her love of cinema and literature, and for the love she gave to her family and friends.

Sandy is survived by her children, Lesley Powell, of Northridge, California; Janet Cunningham, of Dallas, Texas; and Chad Cunningham, of Irving, Texas; grandchildren, Sean, Justin, Ella and Elijah; brother and sister-in-law, Lon and Tonya Smith, of Robinson; sister and brother-in-law, Angela (Smith) and Danny Stephens, of Mesquite, Texas; as well as her special cousin, Sue Lynn (Hasslinger) Rohr, and her son, John Rohr, of Olney.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.
