Charles Duncan, 79, of Olney, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital. Charlie was born on July 16, 1942 in Olney, Illinois to Everett Duncan and Evie (Wolter). He married Barbara Blackwell on April 6, 1963 in Olney, and she survives. 

Charlie was big Cardinals Baseball fan, and he enjoyed going fishing with his brother, son, and his nephew. Charlie will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Charlie is survived by his wife; daughters, Debra (Eric) Goldsmith, Cheryl (Ovie) Gaither; son, Brian (Trudy) Duncan; grandchildren, Jessica (Cody) Rhymer, Jeffrey Gaither, Mykala Duncan, Mitch Duncan, Erica Goldsmith, and Jennifer (Tyler) Kruse; three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Letha (Tod) Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Mildred Daughtery, Robert Duncan, and James Duncan.

A visitation for Charlie will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kistler Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.

A Funeral Service for Charlie will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Kistler Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. Interment will follow the service at Crest Haven Memorial Park.
