John and I became close friends as we were both huge Dallas Cowboy fans, we also served in Viet Nam on a PBR (Patrol Boat River).  He was Navy and I was Army.  We shared personal experiences that only fellow PBR's could relate to. It was good to have the opportukrnity to talk thuogh some of those experinces with him.  He really loved his Family, Country and his Church.  He will be missed. So sorry to hear of his passing.
