Joseph D. "Joe" Angle, 60, of Olney, died on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital, Evansville, IN.  Joe was born August 15, 1959 in Lawrenceville, IL the son of Richard Angle and Joyce (Gillespie) Angle Smith. He married Drenea Stanhope on August 3, 1991, and she survives.

Joe was a carpenter by trade and worked for Scott Fore at Fore Heating and Air. He enjoyed hanging out in his backyard around the firepit with his friends, playing with his grandchildren, watching and feeding the birds and squirrels, and putting out a small garden. 

Joe is survived by his wife, Drenea Angle of Olney; sons, Joshua (Evelyn) Angle, Travis (Tami) Angle; daughter, Joyce (Michael) Finley, and three grandchildren, Jospeh, Aaron, and Link. He is also survived by his mother, Joyce Smith; three brothers, Jack (Susan) Angle, Jim (Sharon) Angle, and Jarred (Greta) Angle, along with several nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Richard Angle, and his grandparents, Dale and Marie Angle and Conrad and Maggie Gillespie.

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.

There will be a Funeral Service held for Joe at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with a visitation beginning one-hour prior.

Cremation Rites will be accorded following the service.
