Venus Weesner, 96, of Pasadena, Texas, formerly of Olney died Monday, September 19, 2005 in Pasadena. Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Minister Joe Eggebrecht and Brother Bill Cox officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Weesner was born on December 14, 1908, in Parkersburg, the daughter of Olin and Ruby (Richards) Michael. She married Chris Weesner on August 19, 1930. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2005.
She was a retired school teacher and homemaker. She retired after having her own drapery shop in Olney. She was a member of Elm Street Christian Church in Olney for more than 60 years.
Mrs. Weesner is survived by daughter, Margaret Ann King and her husband, Richard of Pasadena; three grandchildren, David, Danny and Debbie Schnautz, of Pasadena; four great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; brother, Harold R. Michael of Olney; two sisters, Gwen (Michael) Kraushaar of Kansas City, Kan. And Verlyn (Michael) Higgins of Johnston City Tenn.; a nephew, Harold Robert Michael, Jr. of Evansville, Ind.; and nieces, Susan Higgins, Debbie Wasson, Gail Evertson and Jeanie Kraushaar.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 75 years; twin brother to Margaret Ann Weesner King, Jerome Michael Weesner who died in infancy and one sister, Leah Michael.
