Blayd Austin Beck, 27, of Nashville, TN, formerly of Olney, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020, peacefully after a long battle with his disease. Blayd was born on February 15, 1993 in Olney, IL to parents Brent Beck and Janet Keller.

Blayd enjoyed playing golf and tennis. He was a past Chairperson of his Home Group. Blayd had a passion for music. He loved the outdoors and had a special love for animals. Blayd was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Blayd was a kind and gentle soul with a huge heart. Anybody who knew Blayd couldn't help but love Blayd. His sweet soul will be missed by all who loved him.

Blayd is survived by his father, Brent Beck and wife Kim of Olney; mother, Janet Keller and husband Clay of Olney; sister, Jessica Roth and husband Bill of Claremont; nieces, Blaire and Cova; step-sisters, Kelsey (Sal) Montoya, Ember (Justin) Kabbes, Mallory (Jake) Chisler, Kendyl (Evan) Mitchell; step-brothers, Austin (Kim) Ferguson and Lincoln Keller; paternal grandparents; Steve and Genelle Beck; maternal grandmother, Liz Stout; uncle, Mike (Bev) Beck of Houston, TX; and several other family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank Stout; paternal great grandparents, Harold and Aliene Pearce and Loren and Dorothy Beck; maternal great grandparents, Van and Ailene Holstlaw, and Rae and Mary Stout.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with burial following in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens.
