Rosella "Rose" (Pauley) Kimpling, 90, of Washington, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Washington Senior Living. She was born on August 12, 1930, in Claremont, IL, to Ray and Edna (Roney) Pauley. She married Gene R. Kimpling in Olney, IL, on June 27, 1948. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1987.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald in 2018; four brothers, Fern, Willard, Millard and Escoe; and two sisters, Ethel and Mabel.

Surviving are two daughters, Lynn (Mike) Green of Peoria and Christine (Doug) Ackerman of Washington; two granddaughters, Jennifer Freeman of Creve Coeur and Deana Freeman of Peoria; great-granddaughter, Isabella Freeman of Peoria; and sister, Elzanna Lanter of Mattoon.

Rose was a member of the First Baptist Church in Peoria and was a homemaker all of her adult life and loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at North Freedom Cemetery in Noble, IL, at a later date.

Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
