Una Marie Tarpley, 82, of Olney, IL, died on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Lavender Ridge in Olney. Una was born on April 26, 1938 in Richland County, IL, the daughter of John Everett and Inez (Fulk) Burgin.  She married Raymond Phillip Tarpley on April 19, 1957 in Olney, IL and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2019.

Una was the assistant administrator of Burgin Manor for 56 years. She loved gardening and flowers, taking care of the elderly, and spending time with family and taking pictures. She always loved the annual family fish fry. Una oversaw the Golden Friendship Club. She was loved by all that knew her.

Una is survived by her daughter, Rose Mann and husband Ronnie of Galveston, TX; grandson, Jack Allen (Ashley) McCann III; granddaughter, Brittney Marie (Jeffrey) Crowder; grandson, Patrick Redding of Higginsville, MO; granddaughter, Delta Redding of Cameron, MO; brother, Gary (Kaye) Burgin of Olney; sister, Diana Burgin of Lawrenceville, IL; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Raymond Michael Fields; sisters, Carol Brown, twin sister Alice Brooks, and Mary Burgin; and 2 brothers, Everette Burgin and Warren Burgin.

Cremation Rites were accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
