Sorry to learn of your loss. I'll share your sad news with my family.

We knew Charlie when he was busy trying to get a decommissoned army tank delivered to the house to play in - like the ones they set up in front of American Legions etc. Sure! Why not?

Hi Libby, Really sorry to hear, but glad to know that the two of you have maybe been living close to each other for a while.  Hope you have good friends around to help you get through this.  Look me up on Facebook if you do that, or my email is nlaface@frontier.com. Jane

So sorry to hear about Charlie's passing. Lost touch after we grew up. Charlie was one of many kids that ran around the neighborhood in Olney back in the late 60's and early 70's.  Lots of good memories from those times. My condolences to the family. From a childhood friend, Jim Ochs.

Alan just left my house and we were talking about the 'old days' in the neighborhood. Your family was such a big part of our lives. Alan and I shared memories of Charlie, all good of course, and shared some laughter. Even though we lost contact many years ago, time doesn't diminish the bond that childhood establishes. So sorry for you loss.

Thank you for all the comments.  We (Libby, Janie, Joe, and Anne) got together and held a family graveside service at Crest Haven on Monday, September 27, 2021.  We loved and miss Charlie.  He was one of a kind.

Janie
