Candace M. (Vandelist) Vail, 73, of Effingham, Illinois, passed away at 8:00 AM Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in the Lavender Ridge Memory Care Center of Effingham, Illinois. She was born August 31, 1946 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond and Mary Louise (Thomure) Vandelist.

Candace was a retired Office Manager for a Law Firm.

She leaves her sons, Kenneth Kocher (Kelly) of Batavia, Ohio and Brian Vail (Amanda) of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky and four grandchildren.

Candace was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and George Vandelist.

As per Candace’s wishes cremation rites were accorded and there will be no public services. Burial in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Effingham, Illinois.
