Barbara Jean (Weiler) Lewis, 89, of Clyde, North Carolina, died on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her home. Barbara was born on September 16, 1931 in Richland County, IL, the daughter of August "Gus" Joseph Weiler and Frances Mary (Schneider). She was married to John "Jack" Lewis and he preceded her in death on May 23, 1991.

Barbara was a member of the American Legion in Olney. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to work outside in the yard, sewing, and doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Barbara loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her son, Tony R. Lewis and his wife Cathy of Lakeland, FL; daughter, Arden E. Hopper and her husband Toby Gilreath of Clyde, NC; grandchildren, Michelle Staub, Alyicia Giannotta, Samantha Weiler, Michael Lewis, Henry "Hank" Weiler, and Elmer Weiler and his wife Beverly; sister, Carolyn Moran, and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Byron Weiler, Jim Weiler, and John Weiler; sisters, Mary Hahn, Pauline Hahn, Millie Vail, Margaret Kocher, and LaVerne Blackburn; and daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Giannotta.

A Graveside Service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 4, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
