Nova E. Osterman, 76, of Copperas Cove, Texas, died Saturday, November 1, 2008, in a Killeen hospital. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Illinois. Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Osterman was born November 11, 1931, in Wayne County, the daughter of Claud and Mary Ruth (Long) Mason. She married Melvin E. Osterman on September 29, 1956, in Wayne County.

She retired as a nurse and lived in Copperas Cove, Texas since May of 1999.

Mrs. Osterman is survived by three sons, Randy Osterman and his wife, Julie, of Kempner, Texas, Ryan Osterman and his wife, Sandra, of De Forest, Wis., and Rob Osterman, of Hartford, Wis.; daughter, Melisa Osterman, of Golden, Colo.; one brother, Ron Mason, of Olney; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin; two brothers; and one sister.
