Tim Tovo, 51, of Olney, formerly of Chicago, IL, died on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Aperion Care in Olney, IL.  Tim was born on December 6, 1967 in Chicago, IL, the son of Louis and Alma Jean (Faith) Tovo.  He married September Lynn (Ladanza) and she preceded him in death on September 9, 2017. 

Tim worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He also worked as a Correctional Officer and firefighter in Texas. Tim enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He was always a person to give a helping hand to someone in need.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Marie Kessler and husband Drew of Noble; son, James Tovo and girlfriend, Dixie Staley of Olney; daughter, Victoria Tovo of Texas; grandchildren, Derek, Aaden, Elliot, Axton, and Tristen; mother, Alma Tovo of Olney; brothers, Michael and Bill Tovo; sisters, Patricia Siddens, Helen Schwartz, and Carol Paige, ex-wife, Sandra Tovo of Olney; ex-stepdaughter, Shelly Siegel of West Liberty, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, wife, and sister, Linda Tate.
