Kay Green (Bullard) - Class Of 1959

Kay Green (Bullard)

Norma "Kay" (Green) Bullard,  75, of Tampa, Florida passed away at the home of her daughter, Wednesday, August 16, 2017 due to colon cancer.

She is survived by one daughter, Shelly Woods; son-in-law Randy; two grandsons, Skyler and Casey; one son, Jerry Bullard; bonus grandson, Shane Hurley; many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and FIS family!

Kay moved to Tampa in 1973 and continued her career in the banking industry working at the old 2nd National Bank on Kennedy through its many name changes and eventually retiring from Fidelity National Information Services in 2011 as a Conversion Analyst Specialist. Kay loved living in South Tampa and had great memories of fabulous times at Malios, Copper Door, Quick Red Fox and Brothers Lounge. She always referred to them as "the good 'ol days!"

Nana Kay loved her grandchildren more than anything, never missing a school function or sporting event. She spoiled them every opportunity she could. The beach was her favorite place to be with family, friends, a good book and chardonnay sunsets. It was her treat to her family every Memorial Weekend.

Kay never wanted a funeral in the traditional sense. So we ask friends old and new to join our family for a Celebration of Life in Kays honor on Friday, September 1, from 4-7 pm at Carrollwood Cultural Centers' "Studio" building, 13345 Casey Road, Tampa.

Information from Barb Bromm (Class of '59) and Published in Tampa Bay Times (FL) –  Sunday, August 27, 2017
