Irl Toliver

Irl H. Toliver, 95, of Noble died Thursday March 3, 2005 at Richland Care and Rehab in Olney.  Cremation rites were accorded with private interment of ashes at Noble Cemetery.

Mr. Toliver was born on February 20, 1910 in Noble, the son of Thomas and Myrtle C. (Kittle) Toliver.

He was retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years. He taught school for eight years and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.

Mr. Toliver is survived by a nephew, James Gibson of Olney; three nieces, Sherry Berger and her husband, Fredi of Olney, LeAnn Lindsey and her husband, Dean of Olney and Michelle Stevens and her husband, Richard of Wheaton; two great-nieces, Amy and Ella Louise; two great-nephews, Jeremy and Grant; and two great-great-nephews, Tanner and Cody.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Toliver and Esther Toliver Evans; a niece, Eloise Evans Gibson and a brother-in-law, Robert Evans.
