Roger A. Russell, 45, of Decatur, formerly of Claremont, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1993 at his home. Graveside services at Macedonia Cemetery in West Salem, with the Rev. Burl Shinkle officiating.  Military graveside rites performed by the Olney Veterans Organization.

Mr. Russell was born Aug. 19, 1948 in Olney, the son of Harold F. and Stella May (Raspberry) Russell.

Mr. Russell was a distribution processor for Decatur Herald & Review. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran.Mr. Russell is survived by a step-mother, Imogene Russell of Claremont, two brothers, Kenneth Russell and Michael D. Russell both of Flora, two step-brothers, Sam Doan of Nashville, Tenn. and Dan Doan of Olney, and one step-sister, Mary Bunn of Cambellsville, Ky

Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his parents
