Paul M. Snively, 81, of Olney died Wednesday, December 31, 1986 in the Deewood Nursing Center in Sumner.  Funeral services at Summers Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Ahlfield officiating. Burial in Richland Cemetery.

Mr. Snively was born Sept. 25, 1905 in Richland County, the son of Orris and Ellen Montgomery Snively. He married Elsie Legan on March 31, 1961.

The retired farmer was a member of the Calhoun Christian Church, the Olney Masonic Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars for his service in the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Mr. Snively is survived by his wife, Elsie Snively of Olney; one stepson, Francis Lake of Rogers, Ark.; one stepdaughter, Sandra Biehl of Parkersburg; one sister, Leola Bass of Olney; six step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
