Marion Gillaspie, 69, of Colleyville, Texas died Wednesday August 23, 2006 at Bedford Hospital. Services in Grapevine, Texas with interment in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Gillaspie was born on February 9, 1937 in Olney, the son of Henry and Elsie Gillaspie. He retired from American Airlines as a Crew Services Manager.  U.S. Air Force veteran SSGT ~ Vietnam

He is survived by his wife, Shiryl Thompson-Gillaspie; children, Sabrina Cantrell, Michelle Gillaspie and Gregory Gillaspie; sisters, Helen Fullop, Martha Rodrick and her husband, LaVerne, and Claudine Bunn and her husband, Walter; twin brother, Max Gillaspie and his wife, Faye; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Gillaspie was preceded in death by his first wife, Monika.
