Clifton Edward Fritschle, 79, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Olney, died Friday June 3, 1994, in Mesa Az.  He was born January 25, 1915 son of George M. and Metta M. (Liebhart) Fritschle.

Fritschle was a retired officer at Kingsport Press and Arcata National and University of Tennessee professor. He was a retired Lt. Col. with the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Marylee Fritschle; two sons, Stephen Kent Fritschle and Mark Copeland Fritschle; two daughters, Jan Stubbs and Elizabeh Sue Walsh; three brothers, Homer Fritschle, Herold Fritschle and Constantine Fritschle; a sister, Elizabeth House; and 11 grandchildren.
