Warren E. Stewart, 89, of Olney, died Monday, October 12, 2009, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Graveside services at Richland Cemetery in rural Calhoun. Burial in Richland Cemetery.

Mr. Stewart was born on June 13, 1920, in Richland County, the son of Eugene and Bessie (Bullard) Stewart. He married Alberta B. Mitchell on July 18, 1952. She preceded him in death on September 6, 2008.

He was a retired appliance and TV technician and had worked for Drewes TV & Repair and Albinger & Kirts Hardware Store. He was a U.S. Army veteran, served as Staff Sergeant and Radar Repairman from 1941-1952 in World War II and the Korean War.

Mr. Stewart is survived by his stepdaughter, Betty Richey, of Olney; stepson, Laurence Seaton, of Albion; stepdaughter, Wilma Channey, of Olney; seven step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Bessie Stewart; his wife, Alberta B. Stewart; and three sisters, Sarah, Grace and Florence.
