Carl Frederick Pampe

Carl Fredrick Pampe, 61, Olney, was dead on arrival at Richland Memorial Hospital Saturday, April 26, 1982.  Services in the First United Methodist Church with Dr. W. A. Robinson and Rev. Eugene A. Soper presiding.  Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg with graveside rites by Olney Veterans Organizations.

Mr. Pampe was born Aug. 3, 1920, in Parkersburg, the son of Carl Ernest and Zela (Carrico) Pampe. he married Mary Louise Minkler May 23, 1942 in Camp Wallace, TX, and she survives.

He was a petroleum Geologist and a member of the First United Methodist Church.He was also a World War II veteran; a 32nd degree Mason; a member of the Rotary Club; Petroleum Club of Olney; Ainad Temple of Shrine, Center Shrine Club of Olney; Richland Post 30 American Legion; and Olney Memorial Post 4226 Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Other survivors include a son, Major Carl William Pampe, Barksdale, AFB, Bossier City, LA; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Debra ) Peterson, North Syracus, N. Y.; Mrs. Tom (Cheryl ) Fowler and Marcia Pampe, both of Houston, TX, a brother, Dr. Wm R. Pampe, Beaumont, TX; a sister, Mrs. James ( Mary Catherine ) Cope, Godfrey; his mother, Mrs. Zela Pampe, Parkersburg; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
