Leo Jennings

Leo W. Jennings, 75 of Lawrenceville died Monday July 8, 1991 at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  Graveside services at Lawrenceville City Cemetery.

Mr. Jennings was born March 15, 1916 in Richland County, the son of Cecil and Blanche (Reed) Jennings. He married Roberta Fleming on June 14, 1936.

Mr. Jennings was a U.S. Postal employee. He was a mail carrier in Olney. He was a former Golden Rule employee.  Mr. Jennings was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville. He was a World War II veteran, serving with the Navy. He was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.

Mr. Jennings is survived by his wife, Roberta; three sons, Ronald Jennings, Prescott, Ariz., Michael Jennings, Evansville, Ind. and Keith Jennings, Olney; four daughters, Nancy Sue Bechtel, Prescott, Ariz., Myra Jo Hightower, Kokomo, Ind. and Anna Beth Land, Bridgeport; one sister, Carolyn Hurley, Peoria; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jennings was preceded in death by two brothers.
