Glen B. Bunting - Class Of 1936

Glenn B. Bunting, 86, of Olney, died Sunday, August 28, 2005, at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Duncan officiating. Burial with full military rites by the Olney Veterans in Ebenezer Cemetery in rural Olney.

Mr. Bunting was born October 7, 1918, in Richland County, the son of Ed and Bessie (Ratcliffe) Bunting. He married Elizabeth Jane Armstrong. She preceded him in death in 1949. On July 26, 1953, he married Charlene Berniece "Twitter" Board in Olney. She preceded him in death on September 18, 1993. He then married Norma Jean Pampe. She survives.

Mr. Bunting was a retired salesman for Eagleson's and he also worked as a projectionist for the Arcadia Theatre and at the Olney Bowling Center. He was proud to be one of the few league bowlers who bowled a perfect 300 game.

He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and was a member of Bible Fellowship Church in Olney.

Mr. Bunting is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Bunting, of Olney; two daughters, Judy Schnepper and her husband, John, of Olney, and Patricia Rupard and her husband, Joel, of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two wives.
