Dane Richard Lawless, 29, of Peoria, Illinois formerly of Olney, passed away at his residence on June 22, 2017.  Services at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney.

He was born on November 15, 1987 in Olney, IL son of David Elroy and Molly Lou (McCommons) Lawless.

Dane graduated from East Richland High School, Class of 2006 and attended DePaul University. He then joined his bother Derrick to work in the family business, D. Lawless Hardware, as website designer and programmer. He was an incredibly talented innovator and a valuable asset to the family business. Dane and his brother ran the marketing department in Peoria, IL and were co-founders of Lawless Brothers LLC.
Dane played soccer and tennis in high school and was the best ping-pong player ever. He enjoyed golfing with his brother and friends and also played guitar. He was a compassionate and caring person who will be missed by everyone that knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Dave and Molly Lou Lawless of Olney; brother, Derrick Lawless and wife Dr. Maria of Peoria, IL; uncle, Ed Lawless and wife Mary Lou of Linden, TX; uncle, Duane McCommons and wife Lonna of McMinnville, OR; and several cousins.

Dane is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents.
