Walter Treece - Class Of 1932

Walter Allen Treece, 80, of Cincinnati, formerly of Bonpas Township, died September 6, 1995 at the Marjorie P. Lee Retirement Home in Cincinnati.  A graveside service at the Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Treece was born December 28, 1914 in Bonpas Township. He married Clara Balmer of Claremont, in 1942.

He was a teacher in rural Richland County schools and at Noble High School. He served with the Air Corps in North Africa during World War II, was an instructor at Evansville College and worked as a quality control analyst with General Electric Co. in Cincinnati.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Margaret Metzger of Boston, Mass. and Donna Treece-Jacobson of Springfield, Ill.; and twin sons, John of Chicago, Ill. and Jim of Tokyo, Japan.

He had nine grandchildren.
